The Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival began as a military strategy to prevent the Japanese from attacking the Namgang River during the Battle of Jinju Castle in the Imjin War. It was selected as Korea’s 2013 main festival. Fireworks, lantern photos, and local traditional cuisine and specialty stores are waiting for you.
